Whimiscal Forest wedding
Planning a woodland wedding?
Then you need to check out the centrepieces from this weeks wedding!
Woodland weddings are great for every season. They can be rustic, natural and simple like our trio of log centrepieces or can be amazingly magical and stunning like our latest wedding at St Audries Park where our Bride Lisa and James embraced the venues deer park setting and hired our Arwen centrepiece. This dreamy woodland centrepiece dressed with green foliage and pastel flowers incorporates the trend for the au natural centrepiece as well as bringing the forest inside. This centrepiece has glass globes hanging from inside the arrangement that are filled with candles, these give the illusion of fairies or fireflies fluttering below. To finish the look the base is dressed with a green moss carpet and log tealights.
Lisa and James teamed the Arwen with our 'Alice' centrepiece which is a trio of woodan logs dressed with silk matching flowers and surrounded with tealights and topped with pillar candles. The bride then corordinated with her own decorated Jam jars, woodland animal table names and stag inspired favours. It looked beautiful and corodinated perfectly with the Bride and her Bridemaids.
Can it work with other looks? Of course it can and below i have given you some ideas of looks and items that can help you achieve that look:
- Modern look you could combine this centrepiece with our gold candelabras, gold candleticks and colored candles. Purple tablecloths, gold charger plates. Wrap around chair back.
- Fairytale/Vintage luxe look this centrepiece would look great with the vintage crystal candelabras with glass charger plates, sequin tablecloths and our chivari chair backs.
- Woodland/rustic look I would combine it with the trio of logs dressed with silk or fresh flowers and moss, hessin table runners lined with lace, burlap chair sashes.
- Boho look could be combined with small floral arrangements and hanging dream catchers and fairy lights, dressing the chairs with lace or floaty chiffon chair backs.
To complete the look you could hire a woodland inspired archway, hang fairy lights or festoon lighting and use a log inspired tree trunk postbox.
